Brand profile settings

What lives in the five settings tabs, how per-profile sharing works, who pays for scans, and how to manage your team, billing, CMS connector, and activity log.

Brand profile settings is where your team configuration, billing, CMS connector, and audit log all live. It sits at five tabs: Brands and Products, Team, Billing, Activity Log, and Settings.

Each brand profile is its own shared space. Everyone invited to a profile sees everything inside it, the profile's wallet pays for every scan no matter who runs it, and there is no domain auto-join. We recommend one brand per profile so each team only sees its own data. Agencies should create one profile per client.

Brands and Products

The first tab is the home for adding and removing brands and products. Two paths exist for adding a brand: guided onboarding (walks through domain ingestion, persona review, and a baseline scan) and quick ingest (a single domain field). Guided onboarding prompts you through each step; quick ingest starts the pipeline immediately.

If you need to track a second brand or a different client, the recommended path is a separate brand profile rather than a second brand in this one. A separate profile keeps each team scoped to its own data and each wallet paying only for its own scans. Adding a second brand here still works and existing setups keep running; it is just not the recommended layout.

Products are added per-brand with Smart add, which auto-builds personas, a prompt tree, and a baseline scan from the label you type. Products can also be deleted here - the confirmation prompt is explicit because deletion removes all scans and history for that product.

Team

The Team tab lists every member and their role. An admin can invite a teammate by email, choosing a role before sending. Invite only people who belong to this brand, because a member sees everything in the profile. The invite appears in a pending section with a copyable accept link. Pending invites can be revoked before they are accepted. Once a member joins, an admin can change their role or remove them. The profile creator holds the owner role, which cannot be reassigned from the screen; to transfer ownership of a brand profile, contact us.

Billing

The Billing tab shows three things: your current credit balance, your plan, and the full ledger. This balance is the brand profile's wallet, and it pays for every scan in the profile regardless of which member runs it.

The balance shows as a number with two decimal places. When a scan runs, the cost is held against this balance before the scan starts and settled when it finishes. If the real cost is less than the estimate, the difference is refunded immediately and the ledger records both entries.

The ledger lists every credit transaction: top-ups, holds, settlements, and refunds. Each row shows the reason, timestamp, credit delta, and running balance. Scan rows link to the run that caused them and show the real cost in USD, the multiplier, and a data/judge cost breakdown. Admins can top up and change the plan from this tab.

Activity Log

The activity log records every action on the brand profile: scans started, facts saved, guardrails changed, members added, profile switches, settings updated. Each row shows when, who, what action, and what it targeted. The log shows the most recent 200 entries, newest first, and is read-only.

Settings (CMS connector)

The Settings tab shows two things: your brand profile name and plan, and the CMS connector.

The CMS connector routes approved drafts to a publishing destination. Two connector types are available: webhook and WordPress. A webhook posts the draft payload as JSON to any URL. WordPress connects to a site's REST API using a username and application password, and creates the draft inside WordPress rather than publishing it live.

To configure WordPress, fill in the site URL, your WordPress username, and an application password from your WordPress user profile. Leaving the password field blank when saving keeps the existing value. The connector status shows below the form once a URL is set.

Only admins can create or change the CMS connector.

Questions

Who can change team roles?

Only admins and the owner can change roles or remove members in a brand profile. The owner role cannot be assigned to anyone else or removed from the screen; to transfer ownership, contact us.

Will teammates on my company domain join my brand profile automatically?

No. There is no domain auto-join. Someone gains access to a brand profile one way only, by accepting an explicit invite from an owner or admin. A shared email domain does not grant access.

Who pays when a teammate runs a scan?

The brand profile's wallet pays for every scan in that profile, no matter who runs it. Credits are held and settled against the profile balance, not the member's own account.

Should I add a second brand here or create a new profile?

For a second brand or a different client, create a separate brand profile. That keeps each team scoped to its own data and each wallet paying only for its own scans. Adding a second brand in this profile still works for existing setups, but a separate profile is the recommended layout.

What happens to scans if I delete a product?

All scans, answers, and history for that product are deleted along with it. The deletion prompt makes this explicit before you confirm.

Can a non-admin see the activity log?

Yes. The activity log is visible to all members of the brand profile. Only admins can make changes to settings.

What is the difference between webhook and WordPress for the CMS connector?

A webhook sends the draft as a JSON POST to any URL you configure. WordPress uses the site's REST API to create a draft post directly inside WordPress. The WordPress path lands the content as a CMS draft, not published live, so a human can review it before it goes public.

If I leave the application password blank when saving the CMS connector, does it clear the saved password?

No. Leaving the field blank keeps the existing saved password. You only need to type a new value when you want to change it.

How far back does the activity log go?

The log shows the most recent 200 entries. Entries older than that are not shown in the UI.

Can I invite someone before they have an account?

Yes. You send an invite to their email address and a pending link is generated. They use that link to accept and create their account at the same time. You can revoke the pending invite before they accept.
